Our Impact on Fashion

We save 65,000 lbs of clothing from landfills every year by upcycling them into 1-of-1 garments

Our Impact On Fashion

At Frankie, we are committed to putting the planet first. Since 2014, we've been cultivating a community of conscious consumers who understand the impact of their purchases.

We consider the impacts the garment industry has on the environment and make effort to reduce waste in all steps of our production process. Our designs center on salvaging vintage garments that would otherwise and up in a landfill, and all of our textile scraps are recycled and repurposed to eliminate textile waste.

We are able to meet our global demand with the amount of clothing and textiles in existence today - creating 120,000 pieces of reworked clothing per year.

LEARN MORE ABOUT OUR DESIGN PROCESS

We have everyday power in where we buy things.

Every time a secondhand garment is purchased it creates less demand for a new high polluting garment to enter the marketplace. Each and every one of us has the power to change the industry and help the planet by being more thoughtful with our purchasing power.

Production of all our reworked garments is all kept local in Vancouver, Canada. We employ a skilled team of designers, pattern makers, and seamstresses that are paid a living wage to design, create and rework daily
