The prestigious 2015 ADAM Grand Prix style award has beenpresented to the first streetwear label, Pigalle. Founder Stéphane Ashpool will receive $276,788, an exclusive collaboration with The Corner.com for global distribution as well as $11,000 worth of Swarovski crystals. He will also receive a year of mentoring from Bruno Pavlovsky, president of global fashion at Chanel.

Pigalle opened its doors in 2008 in France. Since then, Pigalle has collaborated with Nike and Stussy, earned international recognition among trendsetters, with ASAP Rocky sporting Pigalle in 2013, attributing to the brands visibility.

Pavlovsky said, “the combination of Stéphane’s streetwear with our couture is intriguing. The exchange will go both ways.” Asphalt plans to develop an proper in-house atelier, and open it to the young generation.
