Streetwear brand Frankie Collective is known for everything from reworking vintage Nike pieces into bikini tops to custom Supreme collections. What you might not know is that the brand started out as the sister store of Vancouver-based vintage retail shop F as in Frank. Now, Frankie Collective has announced that it will be launching its first brick-and-mortar shop of its own.
In an Instagram post, the brand revealed that the retail location will be opening on August 23 in Vancouver. The post details a new Instagram @frankiecollectivevan account launching just for the store as well as a hiring call for retail positions. The store is set to open inside Canadian department store Hudson’s Bay’s downtown Granville Street location on the same level as Topshop. In the photo a storefront is shown featuring Frankie Collective branding and campaign imagery, as well as a few mannequins, wearing reworked adidas pieces.
