HOW TO MEASURE

Vintage Sizing

Due to the nature of vintage garments, items may be listed as a size that differs from the physical size tag found on the garment.

Lay Flat Measurement

Garment dimensions taken with the garment laid flat on a surface

Pit to Pit:

Length:
Measured from the centre back of the garment to the bottom hem.

Waist:
For tops & dresses, measured at the natural waistline, then doubled for the circumference. For pants & skirts, measured across the waistband, then doubled

Outseam:
Measured from the top of the waistband down the outside of the leg to the bottom hem.

Inseam:
Measured from the crotch seam down the inside of the leg to the bottom hem.
