A perfectly cozy rework.
Frankie Collective, the Vancouver-based brand specializing in reworked sportswear, has launched a series of mini skirts made out of vintage jackets by The North Face. Transforming the brand’s signature fleece zip-ups into fuzzy bottoms, Frankie Collective’s latest offering is, unsurprisingly, almost sold out on select colorways.
Constructed with an elastic waist, the skirts collage together fleece and nylon paneling. Pockets from the original jackets are placed at the front hip of the garment, providing handy detailing. Entirely sourced and reworked in Canada, the pieces help reduce waste by repurposing old fabric into fresh creations.
Frankie Collective’s The North Face patchwork skirts retail for $90 USD at the Frankie Collective website.
